Teen Read Week!

Hey Hey! It’s Teen Read Week, and we have a lot going on for teens and tweens!  Drop by the Norco Branch to receive a free book this week and watch “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” (PG) on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.!  Play Monster Stunt Racer 4X4 for Wii at West Regional Library on Thursday at 6:00 p.m.  Tuesday at East Regional Library at 4:00 p.m. join us for “Chatter and Splatter” — paint a canvas while drinking punch and hanging with your friends!  Or, just for tweens, drop by East Regional Library on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. to make an awesome Fibonacci book.  Hahnville Branch will be showing “The Monster Squad” (PG-13) on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.  St. Rose Branch will have an Art Attack on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. and a Game Daze on Friday at 3:00 p.m.

This week is officially Teen Read Week! Going with the theme “Books With Beat”, here are some good books about music and musicians

The winners for Teens’ Top Ten have been announced!  This is a list of books voted on by teens each year.  Just go to the Young Adult Library Service Association’s website to watch WWE’s Eve Torres announce the winners for you.
