Two awesome young adult author blogs

So, as NaNoWriMo approaches, I’m offering up some internet goodies to inspire you writers out there.

Do you read blogs? Besides this one, I mean?  There are a lot of young adult writers who have a particular gift for speaking candidly about writing and other things you might bump into in life. Maureen Johnson and Jackson Pearce are a couple of my favorites.

Maureen Johnson, author of Suite Scarlett and 13 Little Blue Envelopes, has a great blog and one of the most popular twitter feeds on the planet. Why? Because she is awesome.  Her followers are all in little jars which she cares for and takes on airplane rides.  And other stuff– just go look.

Jackson Pearce, author of Sisters Red and the upcoming Sweetly, has recently begun a 30 Days of Vlogging project.  And she also has very entertaining tweets and defines being awkward as “socially alternative”.   I like her very much. 🙂

Enjoy!
