People from around the world will be trying to write a short novel during the month of November for NaNoWriMo.  National Novel Writing Month is described on the NaNoWriMo website as “Thirty days and nights of literary abandon!”  Doesn’t that sound like fun to you writers out there?  You can sign up on the NaNoWriMo site and join the supportive community of writers embarking on the task, or just write on your own.  Or just lurk. . . and think.

During the upcoming weeks we’ll be sharing resources for helping writers write and get published.

Teen Ink is one resource we like a lot where you can submit your writing and artwork.  If your work is chosen to be published online, people will be able to view, rate and comment on it.  You can also create a profile and share items directly from Teen Ink to Facebook.
