Rating: Fun to read. I’d recommend it!

What was the book about?
Heir Apparent is set somewhere in the future. You follow the heroine, Giannine Bellisario. Giannine gets a gift certificate to a video arcade which she uses to play one of their highly popular total immersion games, in which you can feel, smell, hear, see and taste everything your character does. Usually, you would play for the half an hour time limit, but Giannine’s gaming module is damaged and she is now stuck in the game with unlimited lives until she beats the game or dies from being connected to the machine too long.
Was there a character who reminded you of yourself or someone you know? In what way?
Giannine reminds me of one of my friends. Giannine is very determined to beat the game once she’s informed it’s the only way out, but like my friend, she’s also sarcastic and funny even in a tough situation.
Who would you recommend this book to and what would you say to get them to read it?
Anyone who likes YA books. I’d tell them what the book was about. I think it’s an interesting enough plot to get anyone to read it!
