The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

The Hunger Games was an adventurous and exciting book! It had a lot of action and questions that make you want to read the next book! It was a fight to the death on live TV! North America has been destroyed and it is now the Panem. It is separated into twelve districts, and each district has to pick one boy and one girl to go to the capitol so they can fight to the death and one will survive and be the winner and live the life of a rich human being. This book has a great twist that I know you will enjoy. The Hunger Games is great!
Katniss reminds me of one of my friends who cares so much for her family she is willing to give up her own life.
I would recommend this book to 6th grade and up to grown ups. To get a person to read this amazing book I would say this book has great quality. It has everything from action and killing to sad and lonely death. This book is really one of a kind you have to read it!

Find the sequel to The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, in our online catalog. Mockingjay, the final book in the trilogy, will be released on August 24, 2010.

Thanks, Brielle! Did you know that you can submit your own review online, and it may be included in this blog or the newsletter?
