Princess Mia was a great book. This book was basically about Princess Mia thinking her life was over because her long-time boyfriend (Michael) just wanted to be friends. Additionally, her school enemy, Lana, all of a sudden wants to be her friend. To help her, Mia’s dad put her in therapy every Friday after school.
She finds the diary of a former princess who ruled only 12 days and died from the black plague. Although her dad and grand-mère are against what the diary said, she adjusts her speech from what it was supposed to be to what the diary said. The audience liked it but her dad and grand-mère didn’t.
While trying to recover from one love another comes along.
Princess Mia is volume 9 of the series The Princess Diaries.
